Hip hop beat โ€˜em up Sakeworld receives a massive update with new and improved animations, sound effects, gameplay … and more!

Sakeworld โ€“ the trippy 2D beat โ€˜em up featuring real-life rappers โ€“ has been updated, thanks to community and press feedback. Now live on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 consoles, the 1.12 patch includes a huge number of updates to the gameโ€™s visuals, sound design, gameplay balance, and tutorial.

Sakeworldโ€™s truly out-of-this-world aesthetic is the creation of 15-year-old Jack Phoenix โ€“ who lost his life in 2015 after being stricken by a fleeing vehicle during a police chase. After this tragic and senseless death, Jackโ€™s father, Nick Phoenix, gathered all of the amazing art Jack had produced during his life, started apparel brand Sake Forever, and now has completed Sakeworld to honor his sonโ€™s creative spirit.
