PAX East isn’t just about the games themselves – it’s a community hub where developers, players, and other enthusiasts connect and learn from each other. The Novy team had an amazing time doing just that while running demos, answering questions, and helping the event run smoothly. Like the rest of the community, we’re thrilled to be back in person!
Working with Novy at PAX East 2022 was a joy – and the event ran like clockwork. There was enough planning and prep that everyone settled into their roles with relative ease – and any wrinkles that came up were quickly smoothed over. It helped that everyone at the booth wasn’t just knowledgeable about the games we were working with, but passionate about them as well – and it showed! I’m already looking forward to the next event!
The experience at PAX East in Boston with the Novy team was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me. Video games have always been a huge part of my life – and game testing for Novy has opened up so many doors. In Boston, we got to work alongside developers from some of the amazing games we tested. This created great networking relationships with many people experienced in the field that I dream about. We also got exclusive insight on new games/content for other games during the event as well. Not only was the event useful for my future goals, but the Novy team alone has incredible vibes that I missed dearly when returning home. Working with each member of the team, there was never a dull moment. “Do what you love, and it will never feel like work”; Novy has given me the privilege to feel this way. I look forward to any chance I get to have with them.
It was an absolute pleasure working with the Novy Unlimited team at PAX East 2022. Not only was it exciting to be able to demo the client’s gorgeous and engaging games to attendees, but Novy’s preparation, organization, and communication made an event with a lot of moving pieces feel cohesive and connected. As part of the booth staff team, I felt seen, heard, included, and empowered – and I had fun working hard with the team to ensure the event was successful.
Working with Novy Unlimited at PAX East this year was all around a fantastic experience. The Novy team really is like a family – and meeting everyone for the first time was like bumping into old friends. Jeannie and Luis put together a great team who were all very friendly and enthusiastic about being there to support the devs and show the games off to the public. The PAX attendees were really excited to be back out there sharing their passion with each other in the real world again. People were in really good spirits – and there was a lot of positive energy. Booth visitors were clearly very excited about all three of the games we were demoing. In addition to Industries of Titan, Phantom Brigade and Crypt of the NecroDancer, the booth also included a merchandise area – and there were a lot of interviews and folks asking to meet the devs. Despite all of these moving parts and excitement, the team always kept things under control – and the need to improvise was never overwhelming.
