Twin-stick shooter Invasion of the Box People is now available on Steam and Google Play. Featuring colorful graphics, gripping action and a synth-pop soundtrack, the game is the perfect antidote to grey-and-brown environments, loot crates, and convoluted controls. Get ready to defend mankind’s inalienable right to Bundt Cake in this tough-as-nails arcade game – and watch out for those boxy aliens!

Gameplay: Safety Not Guaranteed
In Invasion of the Box People, it all comes down to a simple concept: Destroy them before they can kill you. In addition to shooting the invaders dead, you can knock them into each other – creating a powerful-yet-comedic “domino effect.” When all else fails, grab upgrades to boost your firepower!

Developed by Angry Giant Games, Invasion of the Box People is deceptively simple, lightning fast – and it doesn’t hold your hand. One hit, and you’re dead –  though if you have skill, you’ll quickly slip into “the zone” … ducking and weaving through alien hordes without a second thought. There are three different game modes to choose from – each with their own rules: Bunker Defense, Protect Yourself, and PANIC! There’s room for different playstyles: Focus on shooting, weave through enemy waves to collect upgrades – or dodge aliens dropping from the sky. With some brutal difficulty levels and an upbeat soundtrack, Invasion of the Box People is a blast to play.

Square Goals: The Story So Far

When diplomacy and all further attempts at peaceful negotiation fail, humanity is forced to fight back. It’s time to show the “Box People” what we are made of …

Available on Steam (Windows only) and Google Play, Invasion of the Box People has been featured in a number of outlets – including Gaming Cypher, Entertainment Buddha, GAMING TREND, DarkZero, Invision Game Community, and Android Headlines.
