Imperium42 successfully completed its Kickstarter campaign for Throne of Lies: The Online Game of Lies & Deceit. The campaign ended at $21,795 dollars, surpassing the company’s $20,000 goal. Throne of Lies is an online multiplayer deduction game that will challenge players to use their wits to determine who to trust and who to destroy.

Games in Throne of Lies will support 7-15 players. In each game, players will be automatically assigned to one of four factions—Blue Dragon, Black Rose, Neutral and Cult—each with a different speciality. From there, users will experience a unique day and night system, which will determine the actions they will be able to take throughout the game.

During the day, players will be able to chat about, accuse and execute others who may be guilty of treason, while at night, they will be able to take part in secret meetings or even commit murder. When a player’s faction wins, they will receive gold and experience points, which will unlock new skins, weapons, armor, auras, and more.

Meanwhile, when players are killed, they will be able to chat with other deceased users, reveal deaths, and play a mini-game to reveal information to the remaining living players.

With the help of Novy Unlimited, Throne of Lies: The Online Game of Lies & Deceit has already received preview coverage on a variety of outlets, including Massively OP and Cliqist, among others.
